Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Limited Edition Collection

Urban Decay will always be my favourite when it comes to eyeshadow palette's. I always get way too over excited when a new one is released.

When I first heard that Gwen Stefani was brining out a collection with Urban Decay, I hesitated a bit as I expected the colours to be a bit too garish for my liking. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the colours in the eyeshadow palette. The palette consists of gorgeous nude, taupe and golden colours. The eyeshadow palette is so beautiful! It can be used for an everyday natural make up  look but can also be used for a more heavy night time eye look. The colours are so pigmented and are a dream to bled, but then again, what more would you expect from Urban Decay?

The blush palette consists of six different peachy shades which are beautifully pigmented. I was slightly nervous when I first wore it as, at the moment I am quite pale and because the colours are quite bright and pinky, I thought it would make me look like a clown, however I was so wrong. They are all quite delicate colours which give the prettiest pinky/peachy glow to your skin.
My favourite is Cherry because it is a baby pink blush with a very slight warm-toned pink satin finish. It is super easy to blend so there are no sharp edges, which makes it appear soft and natural. Lo-fi is also my favourite as it is more of a bronzer. It's very easy to blend and is a lovely colour for contouring.

In this collection there are also eight lipstick and lip liners. However I knew I would only suit one of them which is Ex-Girlfriend. Firstly, the lipstick glides on so smoothly, it has wonderful pigmentation but is also quite moisturising for your lips at the same time. The lip liner is also extremely velvety and easy to apply, its soft and moisturising but manages to last all day. The shade Ex-Girlfriend is the nude colour of the collection. It's easy to wear everyday as it goes with practically any make up look.

I love this collection so much! The palette's are by far my current favourites. If you love Urban Decay as much as I do, make sure you pick something up from this collection!

Spring Coat

Although it is spring here in England, it's still freezing! I get so bored of wearing pretty much the same coat throughout the whole of winter, so when the time comes to break out my spring coat I always get so excited. It's much more lightweight than my winter coat so I tend to layer up quite a bit! I also love the colour! Pink is one of my favourite colours & having a pink coat can really brighten up an outfit and make it just a little bit more interesting.
This one is from Topshop.

February Favourites

I've been loving so many make up bits this month (mainly the Gwen Stafani collection with Ubran Decay, which will be on my blog next week!).

Firstly, I've been obsessed with the Charlotte Tilbury Cheek to Chic blush. It's such a gorgeous subtle pinky nude which really highlights the apples of your cheeks. I tend to wear this on days when I'm feeling like a more natural make up look. Another favourite of mine is also by Charlotte Tilbury. The Magic Foundation has been a go to of mine since the summer.
Now not many people actually like this foundation, but I love it so much! It does amazing things for my combination skin. It gives the prettiest glow and looks so natural, whilst also being matte and staying all day without making me look oily, which is a huge bonus. I think the colour is slightly too dark for me at the moment but I have been mixing it with the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation.
This is my all time favourite foundation. Firstly, it lasts all day on my skin and also doesn't break me out which is incredible as I have super sensitive skin! The formula is so beautiful, it's sheer yet it pretty much covers up everything without looking cakey. It leaves a gorgeous glowing shine to your face, however I set it with a translucent powder to make sure it stays all day. A little bit also goes a long way too which helps as it is quite pricey.
I am also loving the Make Up Revolution Radiance Palette. It comes with three different shades, the middle on being the lightest, the left being slightly darker and then the right which is more of a bronze shade. The lightest shade has a champagne undertone while the second has a more pinky undertone. I tend to use the middle one the most as I feel that it catches the light beautifully without making you look like a disco ball.
My favourite Lipstick this month has been Mac's Whirl. I wear it pretty much everyday, its a almost like a 'dirty rose' kind of colour but when you apply more it can look quite brown, which I think looks gorgeous in the colder months as I love a darker lip.
Lastly, my new favourite concealer is the Urban Decay's Naked Skin. This has been massively hyped about so I had pretty high expectations. I have it in two shades, Fair Neutral and Light Neutral. I use the fair one under my eyes to brighten them up a bit and then the Light one to conceal any redness. The coverage is amazing and lasts throughout the day, when they run out, I will 100% be repurchasing!
